The Battle of Malta 2020 festival is here, boasting more than $30,000,000 in guarantees.
The Battle of Malta festival has been a staple of recreational live poker in Europe since its inception in 2012. This year, the festival was hosted for the first time online at GGPoker from Nov. Battle of Malta, Europe’s best low buy-in live poker tournament, is back next October and set to break records once again. Casino Malta’s prestigious €1 million guarantee event is running October 13-21, 2020 in the spectacular Eden Arena at the InterContinental Conference Centre in St Julian’s. 2020 Battle of Malta to Stay on the Schedule. Thursday's press release touched also on the casino's flagship event, the Battle of Malta poker festival. The award-winning tournament series known to be one of the biggest poker tournaments to take place in Europe is supposed to be back in St Julians in October. The date has already been set for Malta Poker Championship and Malta Poker Festival next year. The former will take place on May 9-15, and the latter on November 3-9. Battle of Malta Goes Online. A popular poker tournament called Battle of Malta will not take place in 2020, although it was scheduled for October. However, it will not be canceled.
The series runs November 1-22 and features 15 signature ring events and loads of tasty side events.
The top 50 finishers on the 2020 Player of the Series leaderboard will share €50,000+ worth of 2021 Battle of Malta packages – win your way to the beautiful island of Malta.
